Egan talks about his experiences in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He trained as a pilot and was sent to England. He flew 62 combat missions over Europe in a P-38 Lightning aircraft.

Daniels joined the military shortly after the attack on Pearl Harbor. He was made a pilot and flew combat missions from England over other parts of Europe. He also dropped food for the hungry people of Holland.
